A Little Van For Little Dogs

Not every grooming van is built the same. Little Dog Mobile Grooming Studio was thoughtfully designed just for little dogs, creating a quieter, cozier, and less overwhelming experience from start to finish.

Hi! I’m Arie

I have over 15 years in the pet grooming service industry, working in corporate salons, private shops, & mobile grooming. I have done it all and along the way I realized I enjoyed specializing in little dogs but I couldn’t find a model specifically built for them.

That's why I created Little Dog Mobile Studio.

My goal is simple: exceptional grooming, genuine compassion, and a peaceful experience for you and your little one!

Inside the Studio

A boutique experience where every detail from the interior to the products used was chosen with your little dog's comfort in mind.

Boutique Atmosphere
A clean and calming coastal aesthetic that helps create a relaxing experience.

Premium Products
Professional shampoos, conditioners, and finishing products that promote healthy skin, soft coats, and beautiful results.

Quieter Equipment & Tools
Low-noise dryers, electrical power and thoughtfully chosen tools help create a more peaceful grooming environment for little ones.

Shama - Nina 11 yo Yorkie

“I had the best experience with Arie! She took amazing care of my tiny anxious 11 year old yorkie that always hates grooming sessions. Arie is kind, calm and patient which really helps ease some of that small dog anxiety. The cut was perfect and I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful groomer for my little pup. Having Arie come to you is so convenient and her prices are fair. 100% trust her and would highly recommend her to anyone with a small dog.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Hillcrest, University Heights, North Park, Mission Hills, South Park, Mission Valley, Point Loma, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, La Jolla, and surrounding communities. Parking permitting.

  • Not necessarily. I just need a safe, legal place to park the van that's reasonably close to your home. Street parking is perfect in most neighborhoods.

  • For safety, the van needs to be parked on relatively level ground. If your street is very steep, we may arrange to park on a nearby flatter street or designated parking area that's within a short walking distance.

  • Nope! The van is fully equipped with everything I need. It has it’s own onboard generators and fresh water tanks.

  • No! Prices are all inclusive and include tip, so no akward screen flip here!

  • Little Dog Mobile Studio was intentionally designed for dogs under about 20 lbs. The van, equipment, and appointment flow are all optimized for small breeds so every dog receives one-on-one attention in a calm, comfortable environment.

  • Little Dog Mobile Studio is designed exclusively for small dogs. While I'd love to help every pup, my equipment, workspace, and schedule are intentionally built around smaller breeds to provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible. If you have both a small and larger dog, I'd be happy to groom your small dog, but I'll recommend another trusted groomer for your larger pup!

  • While some dogs do better in a one on one mobile service over high volume noisy salon, if your pet has exhibitted agressive (biting/nipping) behavior or needs extra restraint, I may not be able to complete the service safely in a tight space alone.

  • Absolutely! Puppy appointments are a wonderful way to introduce grooming in a positive, low-stress environment.

  • Most appointments take about 1.5–2 hours depending on coat condition, size, behavior, and the services requested.
